The 2000 FSU Women's Soccer Season

2000 FSU Women's Soccer Team
Season Summary

The Bobcats continued to focus on the AMCC Conference crown in year 2000.  An emphasis on hard work and consistency under the leadership of head coach Carrie Lysick resulted in an 11-7 overall record (3-2 in the AMCC).  After a 3rd place finish in the regular season, a semifinal defeat of LaRoche (3-2 in double overtime) put FSU into the conference championship match.   Behrend prevailed and took the championship in a high-scoring affair, 5-4.
