Records and Facts of Note for 2011:
- Posted a CAC Best 3.52 Team GPA (from 2010-11) winning our 4th
Consecutive NSCAA Team Academic Award
- Shutout 14 opponents allowing only 11 goals (2nd fewest in
FSU History and 15th best in the Nation)
- Appeared in our 11th Consecutive Post-Season Tournament
(NCAA or ECAC)
- Regionally ranked in the NSCAA South Atlantic Poll for 8
weeks (as high as #7)
- FSU players led the CAC in:
Goals, Points, Save %, Goals Against Avg. and 5 other categories
- Lost only 2 games, fewest in our team history, winning 17 for the 2nd consecutive year
- Senior Goalkeeper Michelle Buckmaster finished the season ranked
31st in the Nation in GAA, 16th in Save %, and now holds FSU records for Season
and Career GAA
- Placed 5 players on All-Conference Teams including the CAC
Player of the Year, Sophomore Forward, Adria Graham
- Had 2 players placed on NSCAA All-Region Teams and recognized
as ECAC All-Stars (Adria Graham and Erin Proctor)
- Raised nearly $1200 for the American Cancer Society through
the Relay for Life event in the FSU Stadium
- Donated 2 complete Thanksgiving dinner baskets to the
Allegany County Food Bank
